Application supporting supply chain management processes
Client: Startup
Description: The project was conducted for a startup. Its goal was to create a product to streamline business processes occurring during the management of supply chains involving land, water, and air transportation. The application supports end customers as well as suppliers in the middle of the supply chain and end suppliers. It allows for managing orders, defining the processes needed to deliver them, centralizing information on all side processes, and tracking the supply chain. It has solved communication problems between suppliers and reduced human error significantly through a systematized process, resulting in lower service costs.
Needs: System analysis, system architecture design, user interface design, software development, cloud-based product deployment.
Solution:
- We held a product workshop with the client so that we learned more about the business problems the application needs to solve. We created, described, and presented to the client a set of functionalities for implementation. • We made a design of the user interfaces and presented it to the client.
- We designed and presented the system architecture.
- We recommended technologies that we thought would work best for this solution.
- The product was created according to the client’s expectations.
- We conducted a production deployment of the application to the Azure cloud.
